About Supchef

Supchef Pizza Co. was formed in 2022 by celebrity chef Alex Dispence aka Supchef and bakery legend Mark DiDomenico.

 

 

Alex Dispence, a native of Brant, NY, has been workng in kitchens since 2011. After attending Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, He has gone on to work at some of Americas greatest establishments, including The Greenbrier, Oak Hill Country Club , The Vintage, and Shea's Performing Arts Center. In 2019, Alex launched Supchef, a social media channel that highlights Buffalo-style pizza and wings, which has amassed over one million followers.

 

 

Mark DiDomenico is a graduate of Cleveland Hill High School, class of 1972. In 1975, he attended Erie Community College, then jumped into the bakery business! From 1979 to 1999, Mark owned a route specializing in Thomas English Muffins. In 1994, seeing an opportunity, Mark and a friend acquired the iconic Buffalo bakery, Al Cohen's, which specialized in fresh rye bread and rolls, pizza dough, and other breads. Alex from Supchef reached out to Cohen's in 2022 to help build a pizza program. Mark joined forces with Alex Dispence, and together they established Supchef Pizza Co.

 

Char is pizza cooking bison from buffalo. When Alex first consuptulized the company he knew he wanted to create a buffalo company, so he decided what better representation of Buffalo then a pizza cooking bison! Supchef Pizza Co. ran a name the mascot contest and Char was born in October 2023.
